Betika Awards Four Customers With Cars Valued At Sh12 Millions
Lucky Betika customers who were awarded cars by the leading gaming firm.
NAIROBI, Kenya – Kenya’s leading betting firm, Betika, has today awarded four winners of its recently concluded BetiCar Ibambe Campaign with cars and prizes valued at KES 16 million.
The winners, Stephen Anyona, Nickson Obuya and Haji Hamisi drove home three brand new, locally assembled, Volkswagen Polo Vivo hatchbacks, each valued at KES 2.02 million; while Jane Ndirangu, who emerged the grand winner of the campaign, drove home a brand new Isuzu NQR 33-Seater Matatu valued at KES 6.3 million.
The vehicles were deliberately sourced from CFAO and Isuzu Kenya, both local brands, to support the country’s ‘Buy Kenya, Build Kenya’ manufacturing agenda while instilling the Kenyan spirit of winning in the firm’s operations.
A total of 42 winners of KES 100,000 daily prizes have also received a sum of KES 4.2 million throughout the campaign period.
Speaking during the prize giving ceremony in Nairobi on Wednesday, Mr. Mutua Mutava, Deputy General Manager Kenya and Group CFO of Betika congratulated the winners and stressed the firm’s commitment to reward winners on time, both in off season and on season.
Mutava echoed the sentiments shared during the launch of the BetiCar Ibambe campaign: “This has been about creating an experience and building an emotional connection that goes beyond transactions. We set out to inspire, empower, and captivate our customers at every touchpoint. This is in line with our aim is to become a brand that resonates with our customers’ aspirations, their dreams, and their values. Initiatives and campaigns such as this one are some of the steps we take to achieve that.” he said.
The BetiCar Ibambe campaign was an initiative put in place towards the end of June. This was an ideal period to do so as most of the popular football seasons around the globe would be taking a break in preparation for new seasons. BetiCar Ibambe would not only keep punters engaged during the summer break but would also be a way for the company to appreciate the people who select it as their gaming platform of choice.
Betika has been at the forefront of supporting Kenyan sports over the last few years. The company has been heavily involved in motorsport, sponsoring rally driver Carl ‘Flash’ Tundo in the WRC Safari Rally. Furthermore, Betika are the main sponsors of FKF Premier League sides AFC Leopards and Police FC.
