KILIFI, Kenya- Over eighty-players have registered for the inaugural edition of the Corporate Citizens of Africa (CCA) Sustainability Golf tournament to be held at Par 72 Muthaiga Golf Club in Nairobi on Friday.
Ibrahim Lande, Patrick Mbagaya, Millicent Mello and Timothy Kuria will be the first batch off the tee -box at 12.30am.
The KCB Bank quartet will be followed eight minutes later by the East Africa Breweries Limited group comprising Victor Maina, Ian Maina, Charles Mwangi and Ed Nyamu.
The Unga Group and Minet are some of the other organizations that have entered players for the four-ball contest on the lush Muthaiga fairways.

The tournament aimed at driving corporate sustainability across Africa has involved a variety of activities including a Caddies’ welfare day.
“Corporate Sustainability is a Goldmine. It is the only known current framework that holds the singular power to deliver exponential business growth in these tumultuous times.
“The only price to pay is to re-face organisations towards purpose. We are glad to be using golf as a tool to drive this message home,” the CCA Founder Sheida Mutambi told Standard Sports.
“Mainstreaming Corporate Sustainability will sow the seeds of Africa’s prosperity, and this can only be brought to fruition by purpose-led organisations that fully embrace social-driven economic growth, underlined by formidable environmental stewardship,” added Mutambi who also doubles as Woodside Africa Group Chief Executive Officer.
While hailing the noble cause, Judith Sidi-Odhiambo, the Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Director at KCB Bank group remarked: “I believe this golf event will provide a great platform to showcase sustainability and its correlation to sports.
