CHAN: Kefofa Hails Kalonzo For Unwavering Support To Harambee Stars Fans, Urges Spectators To Be Part Of History In Ongoing Continental Showpiece

NAIROBI, Kenya– National team Harambee Stars has been dazzling in the ongoing eighth edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The coach Benni McCarthy headed squad is yet to lose in the continental showpiece that is currently the talk of towns across Africa.

The last two Group A outings; against Angola and double champions Morocco have been quite heavy for Kenya, with Stars being slapped with a red card in each encounter.

 Had it not been for the push by the 12th man, things could have gone haywire for Kenya in Kasarani in the two fixtures.

It is on this note that the Kenya Football Fans Federation (Kefofa) proudly extends its heartfelt gratitude to its esteemed Patron, His Excellency Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, for his continued support and commitment to Kenyan football fans during the ongoing championships.

Through Kefofa, die hard Harambee Stars fans have managed to  throng the newly refurbished Kasarani Stadium in their numbers to watch Harambee Stars do their thing on the pristine pitch, their push has enabled the players continue wading through the murky waters of Chan in their bid to seek for glory.

“This tournament has not only showcased the talent of the Harambee Stars but has also united Kenyans and the entire African continent in a celebration of sport and solidarity,” the national fans body said in a statement which further added: “Musyoka’s generous contributions have empowered Kefofa to elevate the fan experience and ensure widespread participation. His support includes:

-Purchase of Silver Tickets for fans to attend matches and cheer on the Harambee Stars  

– Branding of 500 Kefofa Members with official Harambee Stars jerseys to foster national pride  

– Provision of Transport to Moi International Sports Center Kasarani, ensuring accessibility for fans from all walks of life.

Kefofa remains committed to supporting fans throughout the tournament, including the upcoming Kenya Vs Zambia, Quarter Finals and Finals, where the spirit of PAMOJA will continue to shine.
