Lucky Kenyan Journalists Win Trip To Qatar

NAIROBI, Kenya- The greatest football showpiece in Qatar is just around the corner, the teams are preparing tooth and nail to win this global football extravaganza.

Out of the qualified 32 nations, Africa will be represented in this universal football spectacle by Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Tunisia and Morocco.

Even though Kenya will not be part of the fray, the country will not be left out in the celebrations of the greatest sport on planet earth.

This is courtesy of gaming firm Odibets that has launched an exclusive campaign dubbed ‘Twende Qatar’ (Let’s head to Qatar).

The promotion will see lucky Kenyans travel to Qatar, in an all-expense paid trip, to experience the greatest football showpiece on earth.

The first lucky Kenyans to punch tickets to Doha were Erick Ochieng and Ali Hassan whose tickets won through a raffle that was conducted in Nairobi.

It will be the second time that Ochieng will be heading to the same football competition, through a similar experience, after his stint in the 2010 edition in South Africa where he watched the quarterfinal matches, courtesy of giant beverage firm Coca Cola.

“Landing on the rare opportunity once is being lucky, twice is a blessing. I have been there and I know the kind of feeling and experience that comes with it, I can’t wait to set foot in Qatar,” Ochieng stated.

Hassan who was beaming with joy believes the Qatar tournament will increase his depth in the sport and expand his knowledge in the game that has earned him respect as a top football commentator in the country.

“As a sports pundit, heading to Qatar will give me great inspiration, it will grant me the zeal to continue broadcasting this beautiful game to Kenya and the rest of the world,” Hassan underlined.

Apart from watching the game live, the lucky winners will be taken through an exclusive tour where they will visit Qatar’s historic sites including the Msheireb Museums in Doha and the National Museum of Qatar.

Kenyans eager to take part in the promotions should be 18 years and above, they should place a multibet of five games on Odibets platform, the multibet should have a minimum odd of 5.99 and  should be staked with KSh 99 and above.
