Gaming:Safaricom To Reward Customers With Cars And Cash Vouchers

NAKURU, Kenya- Safaricom (NSE: SCOM) has kicked-off a 90-day online gaming challenge that will see customers compete on simple puzzle, arcade and action games with daily cash vouchers totaling KES 500,000 and a Grand Prize of three Suzuki Altos up for grabs.
The ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge will run from 16 th November 2024 to 15 th February 2025, with three daily winners of cash vouchers for 90 days. The grand prize will see one Suzuki Alto up for grabs every month for three months. To participate, customers can visit https://sc.wineazy.com, USSD *555# or MySafaricom app, and sign up to Challenges Arena for KES 10 daily.

“Through the ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge, we aim to deliver an engaging gaming proposition that resonate with our youth customers, all while keeping them entertained on the go and offering them opportunities to win exciting rewards,” said Fawzia Ali, Chief Consumer Business Officer, Safaricom PLC.
Participants will accumulate points based on how they complete the skill-based games, and they will be able to track their rank through a publicly available leaderboard. The top three players at the end of a day will win the daily prizes of KES 3,000, KES 2,000 and KES 1,000 vouchers, while the top player at the end of every month will drive away in a brand-new Suzuki Alto.

The ‘Wai Ndai’ Challenge was launched during the inaugural Safaricom Hook Circle Praktiklz bootcamp at Nakuru Athletics Club, which provided the youth a platform to interact with mentors and experts from the music, art, fashion, dance, and gaming industries. The launch will be followed by ‘Wai Ndai’ university, college and hotspot activations across the country.
