NAIROBI, Kenya- Chelsea’s midfield wizard N’golo Kant’e is back! Kante has been absent from the Blues workouts since August due to a nagging injury.

The dramatic 2-2 tie between Tottenham and the Blues earlier in the season has kept the 31-year-old out of action with a hamstring issue.

After the conclusion of the final international break before the World Cup, the France international was the first significant player to return from the Les Blues’ extensive list of injured players.

He did not travel with Didier Deschamps’ France team as they prepared for the World Cup in Qatar in November by playing Austria and Denmark.

Due to a knee injury, Kanté left the Les Bleus camp in June and was unable to play in the month’s final Nations League match against Croatia.

During the international break, the Chelsea star played in just one match, beginning with the 2-1 defeat to Denmark at the Stade de France before missing the draws in Croatia and Austria.

In order to rediscover his rhythm in time for the Qatar Cup, Kante will now try to perform at his peak at Stamford Bridge.

He started both of Chelsea’s first games this season against Everton and Tottenham. He made a total of 42 appearances last season across all competitions.

For Chelsea’s new manager Graham Potter, who hopes to rely on Kante’s talents after joining the team earlier this month, Kante’s comeback is without a doubt a significant boost.
