1,000 Runners Expected At 2024 Karura Chapel Run

NAIROBI, Kenya– The second edition of the annual Karura Chapel Run is set to take place on August 3rd 2024 at Two Rivers, Koroga Grounds. The event will seek to build up from the success of last year’s edition that saw over 580 participants and 6 corporate sponsors marking a successful start to the initiative.
The run, organized by Karura Community Chapel, is a charity-based event that combines walking and jogging, known as “wogging.”. The event, held under the theme, “Wogging for a Cause,” aims to raise funds that will go towards a charitable cause, while promoting health and fitness by encouraging physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices.

Registration for the event is now open, and the cost remains the same for all race categories, whether you are an adult or a child. The cost is Ksh1,500.00 for adults and Ksh700.00 for children.
